Australian residents can drive with their overseas license during the first 3 months in Australia (or 3 months from the first arrival to Australia with the PR, which ever comes first).
Thereafter, a local diver's license must be obtained.
To obtain an Australian dirver's License you'll need to pass 3 tests:
Theory test, Hazards perception test and a Driving test
